James Conant is a co-founder and brings the unique perspective of working with sales, use and excise taxes from both the public accounting and private industry points of view. 

 

Previously, Jim worked as a VP of Client Services for ADP's Tax Credits  where he headed the management and development of the client services organization located in Florence, South Carolina, as well as home shored associates located throughout the US.

He also worked for the General Electric Company where he managed the sales & use tax functions for various GE operating units, including Transportation, GE Capital, GE Corporate and NBC/Universal.

Prior to that, Jim was a Senior Manager at the Pittsburgh office of Ernst & Young LLP, where he provided sales, use and excise tax services to Fortune 500 companies of all sizes, as well as other clients of varying sizes and industries.

Jim is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Pennsylvania and Georgia and is a Six-Sigma/Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (Quality Regimen).
